Fallon hints at a skit with the First Lady and comic Will Ferrell, saying he's planning "a fun special thing"...
Washington, DC - First Lady Michelle Obama will help Jimmy Fallon jack up the ratings for his debut week as host of The Tonight Show, joining the comic in his New York City studio to tape an appearance this Thursday, Feb. 20th, her office announced today.  The show will air the same night.

Stay classy, Mrs. Obama: Actor Will Ferrell will also be a guest on the show, and Fallon today teased that he's planning something of a comic threesome.

“We might do a fun special thing with the First Lady and Will Ferrell,” Fallon told Ryan Seacrest during a radio interview for On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

"Might be a kinda cool thing," Fallon said.

Last year, Mrs. Obama and Fallon joined forces on his other chat show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, to create the virally popular "Evolution of Mom Dancing" video "in honor of" the third anniversary of the Let's Move! campaign.  Mrs. Obama showed off her moves with the drag-clad comic, trumping him in their dance-off.  It's had more than 17 million views on YouTube.

Mrs. Obama will discuss the fourth anniversary of her child obesity campaign with Fallon on Thursday--or dance with him, as the case may be.  Or sing.  Or...whatever.  Arcade Fire will be the musical guest when Mrs. Obama tapes her show on Thursday.  The First Lady and Ferrell are among a slew of celebrities helping Fallon debut his new show this week, including Bradley Cooper, Justin Timberlake, Will Smith, Lady Gaga, U2, and Jerry Seinfeld.

First Lady to visit Drink Up exhibit at New Museum in New York...
Ahead of her appearance on The Tonight Show, Mrs. Obama will begin her day in New York City with a visit to WAT-AAH!’s "Taking Back the Streets" exhibit at the New Museum, her office said.   The WAT-AAH! bottled water company is a partner in Mrs. Obama's Drink Up hydration campaign, launched last Fall.

"Taking Back the Streets is a celebration of street art in honor of Drink Up, the Partnership for a Healthier America’s initiative that encourages all Americans to drink more water," said the East Wing.

Thursday will be busy for Mrs. Obama:  She will also attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser during her trip to New York, her office said.

"While in New York, the First Lady will attend a DNC event at a private residence. This event is closed press," the East Wing said.
