Washington, DC - First Lady Michelle Obama isn't the only one dancing up a storm for the Let's Move! campaign:  Senior Policy Advisor for Nutrition Policy Sam Kass shows off his best moves in Eat Your Super Powers, a new music video devoted to getting kids to eat more fruits and vegetables, created by Brooklyn, NY children's entertainment company Super Sprowtz.

The video was filmed on location in Mrs. Obama's Kitchen Garden on the South Lawn, and spoofs the White House press corps.  As the story opens, Kass and Sprowtz character Colby Carrot are at a "press conference" beset by a pack of hostile journalists who are questioning a "report" that Kass has been feeding the President and First Family secret "super powers."

"There's absolutely no secret," Kass says.  "I've been feeding the President and First Family super powers for years."

"I heard these super powers were made in a factory in a far-off land!" says one reporter.

Kass, Colby Carrot, and other Sprowtz characters break into song and dance to explain:  "You gotta eat your super your super powers...Let's Move!/Veggies grow in the garden/Veggies grow on the farm/You gotta eat your super powers wherever you are."

Kass also filmed a series of PSAs with the Super Sprowtz that will air on "150 major cable networks across the nation this Spring," said spokesman Lucien "Lima Bean" von Wehren.
"Super Sprowtz, the children’s entertainment movement focused around healthy eating, teamed up with Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative to create this music video as well as a series of hilarious public service announcements for families," reads the press release.

The Super Sprowtz were featured performers at the 2013 White House Easter Egg Roll, and Kass, Colby Carrot and the other characters also star in a White House-produced video filmed at the event.

The new music video was filmed on the sidelines of the 2013 Roll, said Lucien Lima Bean.  Kass has also appeared with the Super Sprowtz at one of their events in New York.

The Super Sprowtz will have a 26-city 'Eat Your Super Powers' tour this Spring, beginning on Feb. 24; more information is on their website at
