'EXTRA' Video: Jennifer Hudson Dishes About First Lady's 50th Birthday Bash

Hudson imitates the President's dance moves in her interview
"Oh my God, it was so fun...they know how to throw a party...amazing"...
Washington, DC - Oscar-winning singer/actress Jennifer Hudson did an amusing imitation of President Barack Obama's dance moves as she dished about First Lady Michelle Obama's big 50th birthday bash in an interview with EXTRA's AJ Calloway.
Hudson, 32, attended the "amazing" late-night dance party held at the White House on Jan. 19th with her fiancé David Otunga, where hundreds of guests, including a big celeb continegent, grooved in the East Room as DJ Cassidy spun tunes.

"Oh my God, it was so fun," Hudson said.  "They know how to throw a party."

Saying "can I show you how Obama danced?" Hudson stood up and gave Calloway her impression of the President dancing, looking more robotic than funky.

"Oh my God, Mr. President!" Hudson said as she finished, laughing, then added "You gotta love him."

Mrs. Obama's birthday cake was "amazing" and "beautiful," Hudson said.

"It was an amazing evening, and it was an honor to be able to be there for their celebration, to celebrate with them and have a good time," Hudson said.  "We all had a good time."

Hudson headlined a fundraiser in Chicago for President's Obama's 50th birthday in 2011, but didn't sing at Mrs. Obama's party.  Nor did she bring a birthday gift.

"What can you give the First Lady, other than being there to celebrate her?" said Hudson, who made headlines when she gave an actual house to her long-time personal assistant.

This White House photo of President Obama dancing backstage at daughter Sasha's dance recital in June of 2013 shows that Hudson's imitation of his dance moves is spot on:

"The President shows off his dance moves as he and the First Lady waited backstage during an intermission of daughter Sasha's dance recital at Strathmore Arts Center in North Bethesda, Maryland," read the photo caption on the White House Flickr.
