During California Fundraising Swing, Michelle Obama Will Talk Let's Move! With Ryan Seacrest

Beginning on Wednesday, First Lady will spend three days in the Golden State...
Washington, DC - First Lady Michelle Obama will piggyback an interview about the Let's Move! campaign with Democratic fundraising events when she travels to Los Angeles and San Francisco, California between Wednesday, January 29th and Friday, January 31st.

While in Los Angeles "the First Lady will participate in an interview with radio personality Ryan Seacrest, host of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, her office announced today.

Mrs. Obama will discuss "how to stay fit by eating healthy, getting active and signing up for healthcare," the East Wing said.  The interview will air on Thursday, Jan. 30th.

Mrs. Obama will also attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

She will then travel to San Francisco.  "She will attend political events in San Francisco before returning to Washington, DC," the East Wing said.

On Jan. 30, Mrs. Obama will attend two fundraisers for the DNC in San Francisco.

On Jan. 31, Mrs. Obama will be the special guest at a women's lunch to benefit the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.  The event at the Fairmont Hotel is hosted by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

The event is the first Mrs. Obama has done during this election cycle for the DCCC, and the VIP reception and luncheon were rescheduled from October, when the partial federal government shutdown froze all fundraising activity.  Tickets range from $500 per guest up to Chair level, $32,400 per couple, according to the invite, which includes a table of 10 at the event along with two tickets to the VIP reception and a photo with Mrs. Obama.
