President Jokes About Special Halloween Treats

Swing state trick or treaters welcome at White House...
Last year when President Obama visited Jay Leno on the Tonight Show, he worried aloud that the White House would get egged at Halloween, thanks to his wife's insistence on putting dried fruit in trick-or-treat bags.  This year, when the President dropped by during a two-hour visit to Los Angeles on Wednesday, he said White House treats are being influenced by the election.

"If anybody comes from Ohio to the White House, they will get a Hershey bar about this big," President Obama said, spreading his hands out beyond his shoulders. "It'll be huge."

The rest of the President's discussion with Leno was far more serious, covering rape, war, and the bitter campaign.

After his tv taping at leno's Burbank stuido, the President sprinted from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to finish the first day of his America Forward! tour with a concert headlined by Katy Perry.  He continues on Thursday.
