Happy Halloween: President Obama Pumpkin Art

A boo-tiful collection from across the US, with Biden & Romney, too...
President Obama will not be celebrating Halloween at the White House tonight; the annual trick-or-treating festivities for kids have been cancelled.  Today the President will travel to New Jersey to view damage from Hurricane Sandy.  But the President--and GOP challenger Mitt Romney--have been memorialized in pumpkin art by enthusiastic knife wielders across the nation. There's everything from carved portraits of the President to an Obama Zombie and an Obama-Romney hybrid.

Vice President Joe Biden and the logos from both campaigns are popular subjects, too, as is the simple message both sides are desperate to get across:  Vote.  Below, a collection from Twitter, including some holiday-themed political commentary. (At top: The single official White House photo of the President memorialized on a pumpkin with Abraham Lincoln--but it's from 2010)

Photo at top by Pete Souza/White House.  The pumpkin was outside a home the President visited in Providence, R.I., on Oct. 25, 2010.
