New 'Dinner with Barack' Video: 'Last Call To Have Dinner With The President'

Obama for America on Friday released this new video promoting the sixth and final Dinner with Barack contest, which features winners of the previous five dinners giddily awaiting the arrival of President Obama.  None of the winners are identified by name.  "Previous winners describe what it feels like to meet President Obama," notes the blurb on YouTube with a link to the contest entry page.

The Obama campaign has sent eight emails about the contest since Sept. 17 ahead of the deadline to enter on Sept. 25.  These have included missives from the First lady and Vice President as wella s the President.  Three winners and their guests will dine with President Obama at an undisclosed place on an undisclosed date.

Winners will pay taxes on the $1,600 assigned retail value of the prize package, which includes a one-night hotel stay and coach-class airfare.  Winners must also pass background checks and agree to be used throughout all eternity in campaign promotions.

There's an alternate "free" entry page for the dinner contest that's required by law, but no winner has gotten a seat at any of the President's dinners without dropping cash into his war chest.  A campaign official admitted this week that the org doesn't actually care if *you* are one of the three winners--the President just wants your money.
