The comedian's advice on how best to go dirty on the campaign trail...After President Obama on Monday dubbed Mitt Romney’s tax policy a 'reverse Robin Hood' aka 'Romney Hood,' the presumptive GOP presidential nominee shot back that the President was full of 'Obamaloney.' During a segment on The Daily Show on Thursday, comedian Jon Stewart said both candidates "could do better" with the dirty campaign name-calling. He suggested Romney use 'Oboliveloaf' and 'Barackwurst,' while President Obama use 'Pastromney.' Stewart closed by saying "pun time is over," and President Obama should just cut to the chase, and call Romney a 'wife killer.' The video clip, below...
Romney came up with the 'Obamaloney' moniker during a Fox News interview that aired on Tuesday afternoon.
“We’ve been watching the president say a lot of things about me and about my policies,” Romney said. “They’re just not right. If I were to coin a term it would be ‘Obamaloney.’ He’s serving up a dish which is just simply in contradiction of the truth. And it relates to everything from how I’m going to help the middle class to tax policy. He’s just simply saying things that are not accurate.”
