White House Storify: Let's Move! Olympic Fun Day, Saturday, July 28

First Lady Tweets support for US kids & families participating in nationwide event...
While First Lady Michelle Obama cheered on members of Team USA in London on Saturday, communities across the US participated in Let's Move! Olympic Fun Day. Designed to help kids and families get inspired to participate in fitness and sports, the event was organized by the Let's Move! team through Meetup.com. The White House encouraged participants to post their activities on Twitter using the hashtag #LetsMove Day, and created a Storify.com recap of the US fun. More than 200 different events across the nation were listed on Meetup.com. (Above: Mrs. Obama doing tug-of-war during Let's Move! London on Friday)

"While I'm cheering on #TeamUSA at the #Olympics, families & neighbors back home are getting active for #LetsMoveDay. Keep it up! –mo," Mrs. Obama wrote on the @LetsMove Twitter account, where updates about her activities were posted.
