Battleground state blitz...
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will both be campaigning in battleground states on Tuesday. President Obama will travel to Iowa on Tuesday morning to deliver remarks on middle class tax relief at a campaign event at the Kirkwood Recreation Center in Cedar Rapids at 12:50 PM CDT.
Before that, at 11:20 AM, the President will hold a discussion with a Cedar Rapids family at their residence, according to the White House. The President will meet with Jason and Ali McLaughlin and promo his middle-class tax cut plan which, according to the White House, asks "millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair share and let the Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthiest expire, which would help families like the McLaughlins send kids to college, buy new homes, pay for health care and child care, and help the economy recover from the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression."
Mrs. Obama will travel to Florida for two events in Miami and Orlando. At 2:00 PM ET in Miami Lakes, the First Lady will speak to grassroots supporters at Barbara Goleman Senior High School at 14100 NW 89th Avenue.
At 5:30 PM ET, Mrs. Obama will speak to grassroots supporters in Orlando, at The Venue at UCF Arena, on N. Gemini Boulevard.
The President will return to Washington, DC, on Tuesday evening. He is scheduled to arrive at 6:55 PM ET.
