First Daughter Malia Obama shares her birthday with America: She will mark her 14th birthday on Wednesday, July 4th. President Obama and First Lady Obama's elder daughter is currently with her parents at Camp David, the Presidential retreat in Maryland. They will return to the White House on Wednesday morning, just in time for the annual Independence Day picnic for troops and their families. The President has joked in the past that when she was little, he used to tell Malia that July 4th fireworks were especially for her birthday. The White House has not made public any plans for a birthday celebration for Malia, but no doubt there will be cake. Sister Sasha turned 11 on June 10, and Mrs. Obama treated her to a birthday party at gourmet burger joint Red Robin in Virginia ahead of the big day. Malia attended her sister's party with nine pals. The girls and the First Lady also visited a DC Pinkberry frozen yogurt store on the day of Sasha's birthday.
Mrs. Obama marked her 48th birthday in January of this year with a party at BLT Steak, located two blocks from the White House. The President celebrated his landmark 50th birthday at the White House last August.
Country music star Brad Paisley will headline the USO concert during the July 4th picnic.
