Superstar actor George Clooney, who raked in millions with a May fundraising dinner in Los Angeles for President Obama, will be putting his charm to work in August for more of the same. But this time Clooney will be wooing American expats abroad, with an intimate dinner and reception in Geneva, Switzerland on August 27th. Clooney will speak at a $1,000/ticket reception for about 150 supporters, followed by a dinner for 50 people, Charles Adams, co-president of Americans Abroad for Obama, told the Tribune de Genève. Tickets for the dinner are $20,000 for individuals and $30,000 for couples. Co-host for the event is the campaign's National Finance Chair Matthew Barzun. The reception invitation on BarackObama.com. Adams, a lawyer who works in Geneva, organized a similar event with Clooney in Geneva four years ago that reportedly raised more than $900,000. Clooney owns a home in Lake Como, Italy.
