With the appointment of former banker--and former Commerce Secretary--William M. Daley as his new Chief of Staff, the President Obama cartoon, above, couldn't be more timely. The President will engage in more economic gastronomy today, when he visits Thompson Creek Manufacturing in Maryland to discuss the monthly jobs report.
The President will also make an announcement about a White House "economic personnel" staff change, and he's expected to name a top adviser to replace Lawrence Summers.
