The White House has released the video, below, of Governor Haley Barbour and Mrs. Marsha Barbour praising First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign. Mississippi has the highest rate of both adult and child obesity in the country, for the fifth year in a row, at 32.5 percent for adults, and 44.4 percent for children. Mississippi has put into place some creative solutions, some of which the Governor describes in the video.
"As Mrs. Obama takes this campaign nationally, she'll be a catalyst...she'll be a fantastic spokesman, leader," Barbour says of Mrs. Obama and Let's Move!.
The erstwhile Republican Gov. Barbour has previously referred to President Obama as someone who could "charm the skin off a snake," but he's a big fan of the First Lady's child health initiatives.
