Let's Move! Has Its First Oscar Winner

At last night's Academy award ceremony, BET talk show host and actress Mo'Nique won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Mo'Nique is one of the celeb spokespeople for First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign, and made the PSA video, above, for the launch of the initiative. Mo'Nique won the Oscar for her role as Mary in the film Precious. Despite what you might've heard about Precious being an uplifting story of hope, it's a horrifying tale of child abuse, which centers around an obese teenager (Precious) who's been twice impregnated by her father and abused by her mother, played by Mo'Nique, who was brilliant.
